A dial switch, also known as a dip switch, is a combined component that integrates multiple miniature toggle switches. It is typically soldered onto a circuit board and used for circuit parameter configuration, function selection, or state setting. By manually turning the lever of each position, it can switch between "ON" (conductive) and "OFF" (disconnected) states. Different combinations of positions correspond to different circuit configuration information. It requires no additional power supply and is a passive configuration component. Based on the installation method, it can be divided into: plug-in (DIP) and surface-mount (SMD) types.
